Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for configuring home automation equipment, which comprises at least one It home automation device (D, D) likely to communicate with a central control unit (U) via at least one first local protocol (P), the method comprising the following steps: receiving at least one configuration message relative to a location identifier (PAD, PAD) of at least one home automation device (D, D) according to the first local communication protocol (P); obtaining a location identifier (PAD, PAD) of the at least one home automation device (D, D) according to a second target communication protocol (P); recording (ECfU) the correspondence between the location identifier (PAD, PAD) of the at least one home automation device (D, D) according to the first communication protocol and the location identifier (PAD, PAD) of the at least one home automation device (D, D) according to the second communication protocol (P); recording (EcfU) the at least one type (PTD, PTD) of the at least one home automation device (D, D) and/or the at least one definition of a function or a group of functions of the at least one home automation device (D, D) and/or the at least one definition of a status variable or a group of status variables of the at least one home automation device (D, D) and/or a function conversion rule. The present invention also relates to a method for controlling and monitoring said equipment.
