A funnel-shaped enema nozzle () that includes a flared proximal part () that tapers into a tubular distal part (), has at least a part of an exterior annular wall () of the tubular distal part () provided with a hydrophilic coating () to provide reduced friction during use of the nozzle () during performing an enema.
