Abstract
Systems and methods for using tunnels to provide communication channels between nodes in a network, where the tunnels may be, for example, multi-purpose UDP tunnels. Different nodes may be in different networks where at least one network may comprise a complex array of both static and moving communication nodes (e.g., the Internet of moving things) that may include, for example, autonomous vehicles.
