Abstract

A system () for testing a battery cell () by creating at least one of the effects of internal short circuit within the cell () with at least one cathode, at least one anode, at least one sensor () and at least one conductive heating element (), comprising at least one resistive heat element (), wherein at least the resistive heat element () is assembled within the cell () for simulating an internal short circuit.
