Abstract

Provided is an imaging system capable of stereo-photographing with both of visible and infrared images, and improving color reproducibility in visible-light-photographing. The imaging system includes two imaging sensors, and two DBPFsthat have transmittance characteristics in a visible light band and a second wavelength band, are respectively provided correspondingly to the two imaging sensors, and serve as optical filters. The imaging system has: at least four kinds of filters, which have mutual different spectral transmission characteristics corresponding to wavelengths in the visible light band and whose transmissions in a second wavelength band approximate each other; and two color filters provided so as respectively correspond to the two imaging sensors. The imaging system measures a distance to a target based on two visible or infrared image signals.
