Abstract

Disclosed are various embodiments for identifying and recommending events of interest in real-time media content. Video of a media content stream is analyzed to determine whether an event of interest is occurring in real-time. Upon determining that an event of interest is occurring in real-time, a user interface is generated that includes at least two concurrently visible options to begin viewing video content corresponding to the event of interest.
