Abstract

A tire that can improve braking performance on a dry road surface and wet performance is provided. The tire includes a tread portion. The tread portionincludes a shoulder land portiondisposed at an endmost tread edge side. The shoulder land portionhas a plurality of shoulder lateral groovesthat fully traverse the shoulder land portion. Each shoulder lateral grooveincludes, in a transverse cross-section orthogonal to a longitudinal direction thereof, a bottom portion, a groove wall main bodyextending from the bottom portionoutward in a tire radial direction, and a chamfered portionbetween a ground-contact surface of the shoulder land portionand the groove wall main body. The chamfered portionis titled at an angle of 5 to 30° relative to a tread profileobtained by extending the ground-contact surface.
