Abstract

The invention relates to a connector () for connecting a catheter () to a fluid transfer system comprising a main body () with a tubular pin () adapted to be inserted into an end portion () of the catheter () such as to provide a fluid connection between the catheter () and the tubular pin (). The connector () is characterized in that a fixing means () is movably connected to the main body (), wherein the fixing means () is adapted to fix the catheter () to the connector () when the fixing means () is in a fixing position.
