Abstract
An accumulator module () having a housing () and at least one carrier () that is placed in the interior of the housing () and is fitted with a plurality of accumulator cells (). Each accumulator cell () has two poles, an end-face contact () at a top of the accumulator cell () and a lateral surface () on a lateral side of the accumulator. A cell connector () is provided to conductively connect accumulator cells () of adjacent groups of accumulator cells (). The cell connector () has an elongated body that conductively contacts the end-face contacts () of a plurality of accumulator cells () in one group to the lateral surfaces () of a plurality of other accumulator cells () in another group. The cell connector () comprises contact tongues () for contacting the end-face contacts () and contact lugs () for contacting the lateral surfaces ().
