Abstract
A recording material cooling deviceincludes a rotating endless first beltand an endless second beltwhich forms a cooling nip Twith the first beltand which nips and feeds the recording material in the cooling nip Tthrough rotation. A heat sinkfor cooling the first beltor the second beltis provided. On the second beltside, a belt cleaning deviceis provided. The belt cleaning devicecontacts the second beltand removes a deposited matter such as toner and a wax deposited on the second belt. The belt cleaning device is capable of removing the deposited matter deposited on the belt nipping and feeding the recording material for cooling the recording material.
