Abstract
An electric vehicle () has an on-board charger () for charging a high-voltage battery () of the electric vehicle () and a heating element (). The on-board charger () has an intermediate circuit capacitor () in an intermediate circuit ('), and the heating element () is connected electrically to the intermediate circuit (′).
