Abstract

Accordingly, the embodiment provides a method for detecting a beam failure event by a Base Station (BS) () in a wireless network (). The method includes transmitting at least one of a resource scheduling configuration and a reference signal configuration to at least one first User Equipment (UE) () in the wireless network (). Further, the method includes determining whether at least one response is received from the first UE (). Further, the method includes detecting a beam failure event associated with at least one beam from the plurality of beams of the first UE () in response to determining that the at least one response is not received from the first UE ().
