Abstract
A connector assembly () is disclosed in which a main body () and a latch member () are provided. In one aspect, the latch member () is formed as a spring and has a first portion () with a locking rib structure () that can be depressed towards the main body () to allow the connector assembly () to be inserted through a front side () or a back side () of an opening () in a panel (). After insertion, the first portion () can then be released such that a retention structure () of the main body () and the locking rib structure () engage opposite ends of an opening () to secure the connector assembly () within the opening (). The same connector () assembly () can be used with openings () of different sizes without modification.
