Abstract

To improve a gain of an antenna. An antennaincludes a dielectric layer, a conductive ground layerbonded to the layerand including active slots-aligned at regular intervals, aligned active elements-formed facing the active slots-, respectively, first passive elementsaligned with and extending from one end of a row of the active elements-, second passive elementsaligned with and extending from the other end of the row, a feed lineformed on a side opposite to the layerwith respect to the layer, to be electromagnetically coupled to the active elements-via the active slots-. The second passive elementsare arranged in line symmetry with the first passive elementswith respect to a linepassing through the center of the row and perpendicular to the row.
