Abstract

A pulp and skin extract from dried, seed-freefruit. Thefruit has a maturity of at least 70%, a soluble solids/acidity ratio between 2.5 and 3, and it is rich in organic acids. The extract is obtained by solid-liquid extraction in a hydro-polyalcohol solvent selected from a hydro-glycerol and/or hydro-gylcolic solvent under agitation or with ultrasound. The extract is an active agent in cosmetic compositions, which reduce the signs of skin fatigue.
