Abstract

The present invention concerns a transit for cables, a cable bundle () or a bus bar (). The transit comprises a sleeve () having a through opening () for receiving the cables or the bus bar (). The sleeve () is to be received in a through opening () of a partition (). A glass fiber tissue hose () is placed going through the opening of the sleeve (). The ends of the tissue hose () is wrapped back and placed on the outside of the sleeve (). One or more intumescent strips () are placed between the inside of the sleeve () and the tissue hose (). A fire retarding agent () is placed around and between the cables or around the bus bar ().
