The invention relates to a mechanical seal assembly, comprising: a mechanical seal () including a rotating mechanical sliding ring () and a stationary mechanical sliding ring (), defining a sealing gap () between them, a sliding ring carrier () arranged at the rotating mechanical sliding ring (), at least one driver element () arranged between the rotating mechanical sliding ring () and the sliding ring carrier () and provided for transmitting a torque from the sliding ring carrier () to the rotating sliding ring (), wherein the rotating sliding ring () is clearance-fitted into the sliding ring carrier (), wherein the rotating sliding ring () comprises a first recess (), wherein the sliding ring carrier () comprises a second recess (), and wherein the driver element () is clearance-fitted into the first recess () and is clearance-fitted into the second recess ().
