Abstract

A medical dressing is described having a substrate with a first chemical compound, said substrate having a first surface, wherein said medical dressing further includes an adhesive layer having a skin-facing surface to adhere said medical dressing to a dermal surface, wherein at least a portion of said skin-facing surface has a coating with a second chemical compound. Also described is a method of manufacturing such a medical dressing.
