Abstract

A redressing device () for redressing a tapered portion () of an orthopaedic implant () comprising: a grinding member () adapted to engage the tapered portion (); an adjustable guide element () for defining, at least in part, the degree of redressing required for said tapered portion () by a user; and a drive shaft () for driving movement of said grinding member (). A device for retaining debris produced during redressing a tapered portion () of an orthopaedic implant (), a surgical kit for redressing a tapered portion () of an orthopaedic implant () and a method of redressing a tapered portion () of an orthopaedic implant () are also provided.
