Abstract

An absorbent article, where on a skin side of a laminated part of a side sheetand a liquid permeable front-surface sheet, a side emboss that sinks in toward a non-skin side and is made by fusing the side sheetand the liquid permeable front-surface sheetis formed. The side embossis comprised of a plurality of large embosses, whereis formed to have a relatively larger area that are arranged to align linearly along the longitudinal direction of a sanitary napkinwith equal intervals, and between the adjacent large embosses, a plurality of small embosses. . . are formed to have a relatively small area that are arranged in a wave-like shape along the longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkinwith intervals, separated from the large embosses. A side sheet and a front-surface sheet are strongly joined to prevent detachment, and to improve the feel against the skin by fitting flexibly to a body.
