Abstract

The present invention relates to an electric motor () comprising a rotor main body (), to which a plurality of permanent magnets () or a rotor winding can be attached, and a shaft () for receiving the rotor main body (), characterized in that an isolation body () is arranged between the shaft () and the rotor main body () to electrically isolate the rotor main body () from the shaft (), in that the isolation body () engages at least partially into the shaft () and into the rotor main body () in order to connect the shaft () and rotor main body () for conjoint rotation, and in that the isolation body () is made from a composite of ceramic and plastic.
