Abstract

An overhead power distribution line () comprises a tension resistant pole (), two composite crossbeams () and tension resistant fixing members (). A middle portion of the composite crossbeam () is horizontally secured on the tension resistant pole (), and end portions of the composite crossbeam () are connected to the tension resistant fixing members (). The tension resistant fixing members () enable the two composite crossbeams () to integrally connect and are for fixing conducting lines. With the above configuration, two composite crossbeams () are secured on the same horizontal plane of the tension resistant pole (), thus satisfying vertical tension of a tension resistant requirement. Further, by using composited crossbeam bodies (), a dry arc distance is significantly increased, and electrical lightning resistance performance is enhanced, preventing incidents such as line disconnection and flashover caused by lightning strike. The composite crossbeams () are maintenance-free and do not require periodical inspection and maintenance, significantly reducing labor costs. The use of crossbeams () can further eliminate the use of tension insulators and simplify the structure of lines.
