Abstract
A nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus () includes: a static magnetic field former () that forms a static magnetic field; an object holder () that holds an object in the static magnetic field; a pulse applicator () that applies π/2 pulse having the Larmor frequency of an atom to be measured to the object in the static magnetic field, and then applies a π pulse having the Larmor frequency to the object at least a predetermined number of times (the predetermined number being two or more) at an interval of the predetermined period, the π pulse being applied for a first time at a time point at which half the predetermined period has elapsed after applying the π/2 pulse; and a detector () that detects the signal intensity of a spin echo signal generated from the object as a result of the last instance of the predetermined number of times of application of the π pulse.
