Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for the isolation of bioactive components from spent turmeric () and compositions comprising said bioactive components. Further, the present invention also elucidates the potent anti-inflammatory activity of said bioactive compositions and therapeutic applications thereof in rheumatoid arthritis.
