Abstract
An ultrasonic processing system () which comprises an ultrasonic vibrator () having an ultrasonic sonotrode () and a working surface () for ultrasonic processing of a workpiece. The vibrator () comprises a longitudinal axis (L), an enclosed cavity () extends along the longitudinal axis at least in the sonotrode (), a medium inlet () through which a cooling medium is fed into the cavity (), at least one vortex generator () which arranged between the medium inlet () and the cavity () such that a swirl motion of the medium is generated inside the cavity () around the longitudinal axis. A cooling channel () is fluidly connected to the enclosed cavity () to guide the medium in the vicinity of the working surface () such that the working surface () is cooled. A first medium outlet () is fluidly connected to the cooling channel ().
