Abstract
A smart monitor system to capture information such as a subject's breathing rate, body temperature, daily activities, and/or the status of an absorbent article. The system may alert a parent, care provider or attendant when certain parameters fall outside of a specific range. The system may comprise a housing including at least a sensor and a signal processing unit for wirelessly transmitting signals, and a flexible sensing element which may be stretchable and washable.
