Abstract
Disclosed is an information processing apparatus for reducing the waste of power consumption in an IoT system, comprising a position information obtainer that periodically obtains position information of a data collection device, and position information of a relay device that relays communication between the data collection device and a base station, and a controller that controls measurement of a signal strength between the data collection device and the relay device, based on the position information of the data collection device and the position information of the relay device.
