Abstract
The invention relates to a fuel cell () comprising an anode chamber () for supplying a fuel-containing gas mixture, a cathode chamber () for supplying an oxygen-containing gas mixture, and a membrane () for transporting fuel ions from the anode chamber () into the cathode chamber (). For this purpose, according to the invention, the membrane () has a graduated water permeability.
