Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a metering valve () for a fluid, in particular for a liquid and/or gaseous fuel, comprising a preferably plate-shaped valve seat element () having at least one throughflow opening () for the liquid and/or gaseous fuel, a lift-movable valve disk () that sealingly interacts with the valve seat element () for releasing and closing the at least one throughflow opening (), and a stroke stop element () having an annular stroke stop surface () for limiting the stroke of the valve disk (). According to the invention, the stroke stop element () is axially pretensioned in the direction of a stroke adjustment ring () surrounding the valve disk (). In order to finely adjust the stroke of the valve disk (), the axial pretensioning force is altered, whereby the stroke stop element () is deformed. The invention further relates to a metering valve () for a fluid.
