Abstract
A technique for determining signal quality of a radio access network, RAN, () comprising a plurality of transmission-reception points, TRxPs (), is described. A method aspect of the technique comprises or initiates receiving a control message for determining the signal quality based on a measurement of a reference signal () from a second TRxP () at a radio resource. The control message is indicative of the radio resource for the reference signal relative to a synchronization signal () from a first TRxP () other than the second TRxP.
