Abstract

A night light includes a housing, AC-to-DC circuitry, at least two prongs configured to connect to a power source outlet, at least one LED, first and second optical elements for converting light beams from the LED into substantially uniform light emitted from the optical elements, a switch configured to manually select from a plurality of illumination modes, sensors to automatically select between the illumination modes, and means for wireless communication, and at least one second optical element. The LED might be a multi-color LED.
