Abstract
A method for operating a fieldbus controller () having a plurality of I/O modules () is provided, the fieldbus controller () being coupled to a valve assembly () via the plurality of I/O modules (). The method includes providing a user interface () for wirelessly operating the fieldbus controller (), wherein providing the user interface () includes: providing a configuration interface () for configuring an operating mode of the plurality of I/O modules (); providing a monitor interface () for reading status information from the plurality of I/O modules (); and providing a control interface () for controlling a state of the plurality of I/O modules (), the state of the plurality of I/O modules affecting a state of the valve assembly ().
