Abstract

In various embodiments, the present invention provides a moisturizing tissue containing a polyol that has excellent strength while still providing a moist feeling and smoothness peculiar to the moisturizing tissue. The tissue paper has a basis weight of 15.6 to 19.1 g/m, a paper thickness of 115 to 150 μm, a content of the polyol of 17.0 to 22.0 % by mass, a moisture content of 10% by mass or more, a dry tensile strength of 310 to 410 cN/25 mm in a longitudinal direction, a dry tensile strength of 120 to 160 cN/25 mm in a lateral direction, a wet tensile strength of 55 to 90 cN/25 mm in the lateral direction, and compression energy WC of 5.0 to 6.5 gf·cm/cmunder a load of 50 g/cmusing a KES test method.
