Abstract

An electronic device includes a device main body and a stand that is placed on a sucked surface and supports the device main body. The stand includes a base portion and an elastic body that is disposed on a lower surface of the base portion and has a suction surface that is attached by suction to the sucked surface with negative pressure generated in a gap between the suction surface and the sucked surface. The elastic body generates no negative pressure in the gap when no external force is exerted on the stand in a direction to separate from the sucked surface while the stand is placed on the sucked surface. The elastic body generates negative pressure in the gap by being elastically deformed in the direction to separate from the sucked surface when the external force is exerted on the stand while the stand is placed on the sucked surface.
