Abstract

Sleep trainer () comprising a band () with two electrodes (), () for carrying out an impedance measurement and a monitor () for receiving a measurement signal. The band has a band pocket (). An electrical connection is obtained by inserting the monitor () into the band pocket (). Band contact points ((),) are provided inside the band pocket (). Monitor contact points (), () are provided at an external surface of the monitor housing (). The monitor contact points are flat and hardly protrude above the monitor housing. The band pocket () prevents a lateral movement of the monitor and a band pocket wall () exerts a pressing force to keep the monitor contact points (), () in an abutting engagement with the band contact points (), (). Advantageously, the sleep trainer provides a high level of wearing comfort which contributes to a sleep disorder treatment compliance.
