Abstract
A device for dispensing detergent into a dishwasher, comprising a cover element for closing off or opening up at least one opening () of a reservoir () for storing the detergent, wherein the reservoir () has at least one base wall () arranged opposite the opening () and at least one side wall () oriented transversely to the base wall (), is proposed, which device improves on the prior art.
