Abstract
Provided is a pre-5-Generation (5g) or 5G communication system for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4-Generation (4g) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The present disclosure provides a method for transmitting data, including: performing, by a Long-Term Evolution (LTE) equipment, Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) in one channel of a unlicensed band; and determining, by the LTE equipment, whether the channel can be occupied according to a CCA measurement value in the channel, and determining a data transmission parameter if it is determined that the channel can be occupied. The present disclosure also provides a corresponding apparatus. According to the method and apparatus provided by the present disclosure, the transmission power of the apparatus on the unlicensed band may be controlled, channel seizing opportunity is increased and effective coexistence is ensured.
