Abstract

A process for preparing a cathode material of the form LiMnFeCoNiOClis provided. In addition, a LiMnFeCoNiOClcathode material for electrochemical systems is provided. Furthermore, a lithium or lithium-ion rechargeable electrochemical cell is provided, incorporating the LiMnFeCoNiOClcathode material in a positive electrode.
