<Problem> It is an object of the present invention to provide a timing hopper that inhibits the occurrence of the problem that articles end up getting stuck inside the timing hopper and are not normally discharged. <Solution> A timing hopperincludes a first member, a second member, and a gate. The first memberhas a first openingto which articles A are input. The second memberhas a second openingfrom which the articles A are discharged. The gateopens and closes the second opening. The first memberhas a first side walland a second side wall. The second side wallopposes the first side wall. The second memberhas a third side walland a fourth side wall. The third side wallis continuously connected to the first side wall. The fourth side wallopposes the third side walland is continuously connected to the second side wall. The height position where the first side walland the third side wallare interconnected is different from the height position where the second side walland the fourth side wallare interconnected.
