Abstract

The invention relates to a medical registration apparatus (), comprising •two flanks (); •a pivot portion () around which at least one of the flanks () is rotatable with respect to a rotation centre () (FIG., FIG.); •a contacting portion () on each of the flanks (), each contacting portion () being spaced apart from the rotation centre (); and •a sensor () being arranged with an offset (r, FIG.A) to a line (a) connecting the contacting portions (). The invention also relates to a data processing method for use with the medical registration apparatus.
