Abstract
In an assembled batterydisclosed herein, each of adjacent single cellsis electrically connected by a busbar. The busbarof the assembled batteryincludes a plate-shaped base portionwhich extends along an arrangement direction X, and a joining projectionextending along electrode terminalsandand a locking biasing portionwhich locks the electrode terminalsandand the busbarto each other and which biases the electrode terminalsandtoward the joining projectionare formed at both ends of the base portion. Furthermore, in the assembled batterydisclosed herein, the electrode terminalsandand the joining projectioncome into surface contact with each other and tip portionsandof the electrode terminalsandand a tip portionof the joining projectionare welded to each other. Accordingly, welding between the electrode terminalsandand the busbarcan be performed in an appropriate manner.
