Abstract
A fire protection device is useful for sealing through-openings in wall or ceiling elements made of wood or a similar material, in particular for sealing line or pipe feedthroughs. The fire protection device has a main body and at least one expansion body which is attached to an end face of the main body and contains an intumescent material. Also useful is a fire protection assembly.
