Abstract

A device may send a first message to a user device requesting information identifying a radio access technology (RAT) or a band supported by and enabled on the user device. The device may receive an indication of the RAT or band supported by and enabled on the user device and send, to the user device, a second message instructing the user device to modify the RAT or band enabled on the user device. The second message may include an indication of updated RAT or band information. The device may receive from the user device, a confirmation that the RAT or band enabled on the user device has been modified.
