Abstract
A drive assemblyfor a vehicle includes a prime mover housing sectionand a transmission housing section. The prime mover housing sectionencompasses a dry space, and the transmission housing sectionencompasses an oil space. The oil spaceis at least partially filled with an oil. A prime mover shaftextends from the dry spaceinto the oil space. A partitionseparates the oil spacefrom the dry space. A sealing deviceseals the prime mover shaftwith respect to the partition.
