Abstract
A plug () for plugging a port (P) in a flow reactor comprises a metal guide () having first and second ends () and a wall () surrounding a cylindrical interior volume () having an opening () at the first end (); a plug body () having a first face () and an opposing second face () and a side surface () and positioned partially within the interior volume () with the first face () protruding from the opening (); wherein the plug body () comprises a chemically resistant first polymer constituting at least the first face () and a thermally resistant second polymer constituting at least the second face () and at least a portion of the side surface ().
