Abstract

The invention relates to a multifunctional applicatorfor mobile use having an applicator plug, a supply tube, a Y-piece, fork tubesand a nose piecewith prongs, wherein the applicator plugcomprises a pressure chamberthat has a humidifier interfacefor connection with a high flow therapy device, an oxygen supply porthaving an opening diameter of at least 1 mm, and a therapy air supply portfor the supply tube, the humidifier interfaceand the oxygen supply portwithin the pressure chamberare both in fluid communication with an upper and a lower valve seatthat are provided with a sealand a valve bodybeing movable between said valve seatsand said valve bodybeing subjected to a force by a helical compression springfrom the direction of the oxygen supply portand on the other hand being pushed against the upper valve seatby an actuating elementof the high flow therapy devicewhen the applicator plugis locked in place on the high flow therapy device
