The invention concerns a kitchen appliance comprising a stirring unitand a pot. An insert potis provided, which can be inserted in the potsuch that an interspaceremains between the potand the insert pot, wherein the stirring unithas a toolfor blending and/or chopping that is located in the interspacewhen the insert potis inserted.
