Abstract
A mobile communication device including a wireless transceiver and a controller is provided. The wireless transceiver performs wireless transmission and reception to and from a first base station and a second base station. The controller communicates data traffic of an application over a first Multi-Path Transmission Control Protocol (MPTCP) sub-flow with the first base station via the wireless transceiver, and determines a most suitable base station for the mobile communication device according to a machine learning model or a rule-based model. Also, the controller transfers the data traffic to be communicated over a second MPTCP sub-flow with the second base station via the wireless transceiver in response to the most suitable base station being the second base station.
