Abstract
An electrical machine () comprises a stator () and a rotor () having a plurality of poles (). A pole comprises a radial axis () centrally through the pole. A pole comprises a first slot configuration () having a magnet () located centrally within the slot with the radial axis () passing through the magnet () or the magnet being substantially perpendicular to the radial axis.
