Abstract
A packet processing system and method for enabling real-time packet processing while preventing an unnecessary delay increase are provided. A terminal-and a terminal-that transmit different types of packets in real time, a communication devicethat processes packets transmitted by the terminal-, and a packet processing devicedisposed in a communication path of the packet from the terminal-and the terminal-to the communication device. The packet processing devicedetermines a processing method for the packets received from the terminal-based on the packets received from the terminal-, creates a processing method determination table, and creates a processing method list. The terminal information packet processing unitprocesses the packets received from the terminal-per packet unit based on the processing method list.
